let's talk i spy swap!i'm starting a new one.
do you want in? let me share the details (i'm channeling a game show host)
FIRST: we need 10 people (i already have a few)10 people buy 10 different kinds of fun printed fabric (see below for examples)(100% cotton 100% washable)(you only need to buy 12 inches per fabric)then you cut them up 6 inches by 6 inches. 10 squares of each fabric10 fabrics...that equals...?anyone anyonebueller?100 squares.
then you put those 100 squares into an envelope...addressed to me...with $5.15 (to mail it back to you priority envelope)(if you want in and you don't live in the U S of A....you can still swap in...you just need to make sure you include enough money to mail it back!(cash only!!!)then i get those 1,000 squares....and i swap them.and you get 90 new squares...10 of your own.
and then you sew it into...well...whatever you dang well want.(my quilt is currently over 300 squares...just saying)
FABRIC CHOICE:let me show you what i'm look for:(these are all from my sponsor allegro fabrics!)
fun prints...easy to find in a quilt. loads of color...unique things etc...THINGS WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR: even though this fabric is sooo cute:
no flowers, patterns, stripes, plaid, dots, etc..... kids don't know how to look for paisley...DO:
DON'T
this is the tricky part. i hate when i get a package from someone and they have the CUTEST fabric...and the next package is sub par...i mean...like you see the bunny bum....it's cut off the rest....so pleaasseee keep that in mind!it doesn't cost too much...i just bought all these:
from joanns....each one was 30% off...and i had a 25% off that price coupon...so each one was a little over one dollar!i'd like to turn this one around fast....in the mail by the um...end of next weekish. so i can get them back out to you right after thanksgiving!soooo....if you want in--email me at kimbowest21 (at) gmail (dot) comi always have an ongoing waiting list! so even if you are reading this in two years and want in...email me!
(related p.s. if you have like a huge fabric stash like i do...but random sizes..you are welcome to use like 20 fabrics--and only 5 squares each (instead of 10)just make sure that they are all organized into sets of ten to not confuse me....(all ten should be different.....)

and fyi...i have one set of 60 ispy squares left in my etsy shop GO HERE! (AND i updated it with a couple new animal scarves and two crayon rolls!
