If you thought Halloween was spooky, scary and fun, well guess again, it's going be annoying too.

Yes, the Annoying Orange Adult Costume and friends have made the move from YouTube Videos to Halloween and for those who can't stand phrases like "I'm an orange. You're an apple. I'm an orange." and endless heckling and laughing be ready for a long night.

And if the Annoying Orange isn't enough, they made costumes for his friends, Apple and Pear too. All I can say is, have the aspirin ready just in case any of your friends wear these Halloween Costumes and try to impersonate the Annoying Orange.

My fear is that these costumes could lead to a Halloween tragedy. Hmm, does make me think that an Annoying Orange Halloween party could be very entertaining, you could even spin it to be "Who Killed the Annoying Orange?"

If you have never seen the Annoying Orange, you are lucky but here is a video.

Here are the Annoying Orange Costumes
The Annoying Orange Adult Costume

Annoying Orange Pear Costume

What may be the most Annoying thing yet about this costume is that these Annoying Orange costumes come in child, teen and adult sizes, so not only may you be annoyed by your friends but you are going to find their kids extremely more annoying than normal.

Hopefully you'll find a way to survive Halloween without being annoyed to much. However, if you want these Annoying Orange costumes you better act fast as they could be popular like last year's Angry Bird's, but only time will tell.

10 Worst Baby / Toddler Halloween Costumes of 2012

To contact us Click HERE
Halloween is fun and silly when you are just 1, 2, or 3 years old. You aren't old enough to understand what is really popular in society, so adults tend to select their toddler's costumes.

While many like Lady Bugs, Cute Kitties, Colorful Monsters and pint sized Supper Heroes others are hideous and terrible toddler costumes. While researching this year's Halloween costumes, we came across costumes we thought were bad for various reasons. So in order to share these examples I cam up with the:

10 Worst Baby / Toddler Costumes of 2012

UPS Guy - Child Labor Laws?
The UPS Guy Toddler Costume
First I want to say that this costume is cute, but unlike a Policeman or Fireman costume that kids look up to, this is not an aspirational costume for a toddler. And it gets creppy if the Mom buys that costume because she has a crush on the UPS guy.

French Fries - You Are What You Eat!
French Fries Toddler Costume
Hmmm, nothing says I Love You like dressing your toddler up as French Fries from a Fast Food Restuarant. I would be concerned that any child caght in this costume may one day be super sized by their French Fry addiction.

Dora the Explorer - You Already Own This Costume
Dora the Explorer Deluxe Child Costume
We love Dora the Explorer, it's a fun show and everyday is a new adventure. However this costume makes are Worst List because most little girls already have a pink shirt and orange short in the closet! If you don't and your child wants to be Dora, head out to the mall and visit the children's clearance section for the clothes and then just add a backpack.

Flintstones Pebbles Costume - Saggy Costume Award
The Flintstones Pebbles Toddler / Child Costume
This costume makes the Worst List because of fit. Not only does this costume look bad, but you have to question why not just wear leggings rather than having a full body costume? Plus it look like a costume that kids could trip over themselves while wearing.

Red Dragon - Fresh from Battle

We love dragons, kids love dragons but when your dragon looks like it made a pit stop to the slaughter house, we aren't fan. Some of the elements of this dragon is fun but the red splatters, signals the animal is hurt or just ate something and for a toddler on Halloween it falls short of our expectations.

KISS Tiny Tikes Demon - How Old Are They?
KISS Tiny Tikes Demon Baby Costume
Hmm, I want to dress my child up as a KISS Demon because a. He wants to spit blood, b. KISS is he favorite band and he knows all the songs c. I love the 70's and what I say goes. If teens and adults want to dress up as KISS because they love the band great, have fun. However SEX, DRUGS and ROCK & ROLL don't make any sense for kids that cannot even read or write and therefore it makes our Worst Costumes for Toddlers List.

Star Wars Chewbacca - Doesn't Look Like The Real Thing
Star Wars Chewbacca Infant Costume
We love Star Wars and we love Chewbacca, however this "Official" makes our Worst list because this costumes look more like an space poodle than Chewbacca. Maybe they should just offer Ewoks in these sizes.

Where Wild Things Are Costume - Your What?
Where the Wild Things Are Deluxe Max Baby Costume
Are you a Baby Seal, King of the Polar Bears, Abominable Snowman, a Bumble from the Rudolph Cartoon? Oh, it's from Where the Wild Things Are, hmm... well you look cute. The costume just lacks the details to be a good costume. Plus who wants a costume where you can't grab any candy with those giant paws.

Bacon Bunting - Yummy Lard & Fat
Bacon Bunting Infant Costume
First Lady Gaga had a meat dress now your child can be wrapped in bacon. Who wants to look back 10 years from now and think "Why the heck did I dress my kid in a bacon costume." So, unless you are a pig farmer or cattle rancher avoid this costume.

Woopie Cushion Bunting - I Know I Smell But...
Baby Woopie Cushion Bunting Infant Costume
We all know babies smell bad at times, but what type of first memory is it to be a human woopie cushion. In a household of pranksters, this might be fitting but in our opinion it just stinks!

I hoped you enjoyed our list of the 10 Worst Baby / Toddler Costumes for 2012. From now on we hope to only feature costumes we love or love to hate.

Top 5 Children's Birthday Party Tips

To contact us Click HERE

Most parents celebrate their children's birthdays with a party. From small family parties to elaborate celebrations, birthday parties can be lots of fun for everyone. They can be just as much fun to plan. Here are some tips for making your child's next birthday party the best one so far.

Let the Child Call Some of the Shots

Of course, kids love eating cake and opening presents, but many of them enjoy planning the event too. Unless you're planning a surprise party, you can ask your child to help select the theme, the party decorations, the invitations, the cake and the activities. It'll make the party a truly special event.

Keep the Guest List Manageable

If you're holding the party in your home, it's a good idea NOT to invite your child's entire 2nd grade class. Other venues can handle such a crowd, but for a home party you might want to stick to inviting family and/or some of the child's closest friends from school.

Plan Activities

It's a fact of life that kids get bored easily. Plan activities for the kids to keep them occupied, and remember to set a pick-up time for parents if kids are being dropped off for the birthday party. We're a big fan of games, and you can find a ton of helpful game ideas at MomsWhoThink.com.

Have a Back-Up Plan

If you're planning an outdoor party, it's especially important to have a Plan B for the day's events. Activity books and indoor games will be a must. You might also want to plan a few more activities that you think you'll get to. It's better to have planned activities you don't get to than to discover your games all ended more quickly than you anticipated and you're struggling to fill the leftover time.

cameron diaz dress how to--not really..more like what NOT to do.

To contact us Click HERE
so last week i squeeeeeeked by in project run and play. (i didn't --so thanks for that--!)i mean. i had mentally prepared to go home. (hadn't even started this weeks challenge...started yesterday!)just becauseme and this dress had troubles.big. huge.

no..not huge...but annoying. and i was sick on top of it...so it didn't help matters.i will walk you through the very basic of tutorials and then i will tell you the problemos.
i made a basic dress.... i even added darts...like a real pro. and an exposed zipper...cause they are easier. i like them better...
I bought 7yards of tulle...kept it folded and pinned it so i could get nice even strips...
and cut my strips starting with a 6 incher down to a one incher.
sewed the two pieces of tulle together using a huge stitch and then gathered it into a ruffle

and sewed it onto the dress...working bottom up...
THAT is the basic tut...

problemo number 1: I should have used bigger ruffles...towards the end i realized that i needed to fill up a lot more space than originally thought
(i could have measured before hand...but pfft..that aint'me) so towards the top are like 4 small rows...and the small ones don't move as funnly. yup. funnly. you all know what i mean and that means it's a word.
second. because of this problem...i ended up cutting off the bottom and reattaching it to the top.which caused it to be too short...
so i added a layer along the bottom that didn't have the fabric behind it...and i hated it. i didn't want to see shoes. i wanted a ball gown that was long.
and ALSO because of the first problem of cutting it off..it made me had to add a ...thing? over the top row of ruffles....
and i swear when you lay the dress out it's straight.
but as i'm editing the photos i notice......
it's fetching crooked.
here's me...at midnight on wed. trying to decide i can pull off starting over and have it all done by thursday at seven.
i mean to take pictures takes at least an hour to get the kid ready...the stairs are across town...and they are on the side the sun sets on (is that sad that i don't know if that's east or west?)so i would have to pick a different location...plus it takes me at least an hour to edit and pick what pictures i want.so i'm already in at least 3+ hoursand that includes no sewing time. where was tim gunn telling me to make it work?
so i made the executive decision to keep my sanity and submit it.AS IS.
now i tease how i'm lazy and i'm not a perfectionist and i could care less.
but i lie.cause all i see when i look at this dress is FLAWS!!!!!!i want to throw tomatoes at it.

but. my daughter has worn it thrice.
and when i got her all dolled up for the photo shoot...she made me drive her to grandma's work so she could show her..
and she loved how everyone at the gas station called her a princess as she was picking out her reward for being only 60% awful.
so i guess it's a winthat's a lose.but a win.

captain america shirt...

To contact us Click HERE
this was going to be posted on boy week....but i ended up finishing my road map quilt...which i didn't think i would...cause i hadn't even started it when the week started.....so this got bumped too....today.....

so we made a captain america shield...and you have to have a matching shirt to be really authentic....

and luckily my sister in laws knows of my hoarding and brings me bags of hand me downs...
and this shirt was in there....
peeeeerfect for a captain america. i just cut a circle (making sure that it was big enough to cover the swoosh...

i decided to make this the same way i made THIS batman and superman shirtit's layered fabric and then you cut away the layers to make your design...so the layers were red..white blue...

then you sew the design..
i just took some chalk and made a star
then i cut away the top layer of red to get to the white...
then kept cutting to get down to the blue...
pin around the shirt and sew
and the more you wash it..the more it frays up and becomes more awesome.
